This is the first year of the LALC 5K Literacy Run. Our mission is to lead an active collaboration of literacy learners, providers, and supporters, in order to increase literacy and encourage life-long learning. This event will take place in conjunction with the Red Rose Festival in Lancaster, SC. Run registration starts at 7:30 AM. The run starts at 8am. All participants will receive a shirt and gift bag with local area coupons. The top ten men and top ten women will receive awards. This will be a wheel measured course. We hope to make this a yearly event. http://www.lancasterlearns.org
